Our services

Pre-treatment / Coating / Quality control

As a contract painter, we see ourselves as a strong partner and extended workbench of your company.

Our ambition is both to complete the tasks you set us and to advance the development of drum coating as a whole. It is therefore a matter of course for us that we remain committed and constantly on the ball, even with difficult projects. It is this that makes our work so exciting – taking on challenges and thus generating new surfaces.

Our services start with the procurement and commissioning of your components and extend to customer-specific or industry-specific final inspection of the products.

Procurement of goods and commissioning

With a sustainable and responsible awareness, we try to reduce transport routes as much as possible. Thus, if required, we take over the parts procurement, parts storage and commissioning of your goods. In this way, we significantly shorten the manufacturing time of your product and thus also reduce the manufacturing costs.

Mass small part coating using the hot drum process

Mass small part coating using the hot drum process is a method of surface finishing that is particularly suitable for coating small parts in large quantities. In this process, the small parts are evenly coated as bulk material in a rotating drum by means of spray guns. Drying begins during the spraying process using hot air or infrared radiation depending on the type of system used.

Depending on the application requirements, water-based or solvent-based paint systems can be applied for decorative or functional coating.

Thus, this process is equally suitable for the visual enhancing the parts as well as for improving corrosion protection properties or for adjusting friction coefficients using slide coating lacquers.

A computer-controlled and formula-based process enables reproducible, consistent quality.

Spray painting

If the parts to be painted are not suitable for drum coating due to their shape, size or weight, or if drum coating would not be the most economical option because the number of pieces is too small, we also offer the option of conventional painting.

Pre-treatments

For metal surfaces that are more difficult to coat, such as stainless steel, brass, or even plastic parts, such as polypropylene or polyamide, part pre-treatment is essential.

These materials are appropriately cleaned, blasted or activated with plasma.

Parts cleaning

In our washing plant, the parts are filled into wire baskets and subjected to a specially-adapted washing process.

This process removes contaminants such as grease, release agents and other production residues.

Blasting

Blasting is a common method for pre-treating metal parts before painting. Blasting involves blasting the surface of the metal with an abrasive material such as sand, glass beads or steel shot. This removes oxide layers, rust and other impurities from the surface and at the same time creates a rough surface that enables better adhesion of the paint.

Plasma activation

This innovative process is ideal if, for example, non-polar plastics such as PP and PA are to be coated. Ionisation in a low-pressure plasma reduces surface tension and thus allows good paint adhesion to be achieved.

This is done without the use of chemicals and is therefore a particularly environmentally friendly process.

Another advantage of this process is that it largely dispenses with the need for a primer.

Quality control

We test and document our surfaces according to customer-specific and industry-typical requirements.

To ensure our customers can further process the goods without problems, we pack and label your product according to your specifications.
